Comments are moderated and any links contained within them will be checked and if links or content is not related to houses or personal material, it will be removed.  UPDATE:  If your link is not a DIY blog, the link will probably be REMOVED.  If your link is house-relevant but your comment looks suspiciously unrelated to the blog entry you're commenting on, the entire comment will be removed.

Honestly, I don't know who these people are, but we get 'comments' from all over the place that are very short, barely related to the topic, and contain links to unrelated commercial websites (hair updos for weddings was a recent one).  I do not tolerate this crap.

For all you bloody SEO bastards, know this: SEO comments/advertisements will NEVER see the light of day, so don't waste your time.  Search engine optimization schemes are generaly evil, and I don't tolerate evil on my personal site.

If you're a robot, you'll never make it through.  If you're a human spammer, your comments will be deleted before anyone sees them or sanitized to remove spammy content and then posted as what looks like a valid comment (take that!)  There is no hope for you - goodbye.
