Basement
What can I say about the basement?
It's dark, it's damp, it's home to all our plumbing, much of the electrical wires (including some scary bits), a damp, drafty crawlspace, and several mice and moles.
The foundation is mortared limestone and about 3 feet thick. It leaks like a seive every time it rains.
